Pittsburgh Business Show Teams Up with Burns & Scalo and Higher Images for Pittsburgh-area Toys For Tots Drive

Pittsburgh, PA – Marking the beginning of the holiday season, the Pittsburgh Business Show, Pittsburgh real estate developer Burns & Scalo, and Bridgeville digital marketing firm Higher Images are partnering on this year’s Toys For Toys drive to bring joy to kids in the Pittsburgh area.

This annual toy collection drive began on October 24, 2016, and runs through November 21, 2016.  People are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped gifts during this time. After the toys are collected, they will be distributed to children in need for the holiday season.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new toys during October and November each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. Since its founding in 1947, Toys For Tots has distributed more than 512 million toys to over 237 million children.

Linda Jo Thornberg, Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh Business Show, says that the annual Toys For Tots program helps all children truly enjoy the magic of the Christmas holiday.

“Every child deserves a wonderful Christmas that’s filled with joy, laughter, and surprises. The Pittsburgh Business Show, Burns & Scalo, and Higher Images are proud to be a part of the 2016 Toys For Tots campaign in our community. Our goal is to collect 500 toys this holiday season. We ask that you help us by picking up an extra toy the next time you’re out Christmas shopping and then drop it off at the Higher Images office. Together, with the help of the generous people of Pittsburgh, we can deliver a message of hope to kids in our area,” she said.

The drop-off box location is at the Higher Images office at 300 Bursca Dr., Suite #301, Bridgeville, PA 15017 at Bursca Business Park or call 412-203-1996 to arrange a drop-off time. Higher Images is open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and welcomes donations during those hours.
