Eva C. Dixon Fashion Designee has been captivated by fashion since childhood. She grew up with her mother and grandmother designing and working with fabrics. Watching her grandmother sew with the entrancing abilities of her hands, her talent and determination was Eva’s first inspiration. When she was 9 years old it was her dream to become a fashion designer. Eva quickly learned the art of alterations and design taught by mother and grandmotherIt became her passion and through her early years what she learned was to trust her own instinct.  Eva honed her skill in the trade putting herself through school. Over the years she designed for her family and friends making one of a kind dresses, pageant wear, formal wear, costumes, and everyday wear. She started working at Roxy’s Bridal shop doing alterations and designs and she quickly became a partner in the store. She received immediate attention by customers because she was selling and creating custom bridal gowns, formalwear, and dance costumes for dance studios.   In 2002 she opened her 1st boutique Once Upon a Bride in Worcester Ma, and 2nd boutique in Shrewsbury Ma. In the same year she also was hosting fashion shows and coordinating events and weddings. After having a successful Bridal business in Massachusetts for almost 5 years, her family was relocated to Cranberry Township, Pa. In 2007 and she opened her 3rd boutique on Main Street Zelienople, Pa. Once Upon A Bride & Groom. Helping hard to fit women have the dress of their dreams no matter the size has been her niche. Her goal is teaching consumers that you can afford to build the look you seek more economically than altering off the rack items you settle for. Bridal and evening wear designs that reflect her architectural discipline and structure while creating new shapes and proportions that hold true to the timeless perfection of traditional couture dressmaking. Her elegant designs are contemporary, feminine and always include a touch of impact drama along with innovative details. Through her linear precision Eva creates definition to flatter and enhance the figure allowing a woman to feel the freedom and beauty that comes from confidence. Eva’s designs are renowned for celebrating the woman and allowing her to take center stage. Most notably in 2013, Eva did custom redesigns on dresses for two brides which she received a best dressed nod featured On the TV show “Four Weddings”. Both brides had been chosen to appear on the show, both brides wanted to wear a redesign of their mothers wedding gowns. She has made many of brides happy with making changes to dresses that reflect their own unique style creating long lasting memories. Her insight in special design has created a brand that has continued to expand for the last 16 years. Eva Dixon’s evening wear and bridal collections will be available in her bridal boutique soon. She is in the process of working with factories to make her designs with shorter turnaround timelines. Giving her customers more choices on what fabrics, laces, beading, bodices, skirts, necklines, backs, and train lengths in size from 0 to 38 at their finger tips.  Her new line is called I Do Designs by Eva now located in convenient McKees Rocks, Pa. You can see Eva working with local Bridal & Event fashion shows Wedding Clickers, Beaver Times, Clearview Mall, Pittsburgh Brides, Fashion Week, and Glam & Style. Collaborating with local designers to raise money for charitable events like “Bond Events for The Kidney foundation and Electro Swing Soirée for Animal friends by hosting Fashion shows in Pittsburgh, Pa. 2018 is a year Eva is will be focused working more with models by stream lining classes to help with Empowering Models and teaching up and coming designers drive their brand. Our desire is make Pittsburgh known as a city of Fashion and Design that can compete with New York. She believes there is a lot of talent in this city and wants to help it grow.

Eva Dixon is the owner of “I Do Designs By Eva” now located in Mckees Rocks Pa.  Her business quickly became known for custom Wedding Gown design she has rapidly expanded to include Evening, Everyday wear, Prom, and Dance designs. “I Do Designs By Eva” has created a brand that has continued to expand over the last 18 years. Giving her customers the ability to express themselves personally in their design. She love helping the hard to fit women to have the dress of their dreams no matter the size has been her niche. Eva  was awarded Designer of The Year 2018 In Pittsburgh, Pa. by Style and Glam LLC.  This year her designs showcased in the Project Runway Fashion Show Boston. Ma. NYC. Fashion Week, and her designs have graced the cover and inside layouts of Inspiring Lives Magazine with Dr. Shellie Hipsky  are featured in stories and champagnes. She also showed her talent by designing gowns for the “ RATED PGH” Lights, Camera, Action with the Pittsburgh Film Office; and shown on runway In the Lupus Foundation Fashion Show she created a Butterfly inspired gown raising awareness to Lupus. Eva loves collaborating with local designers to raise money for charitable events like “Bond Events for The Kidney foundation and Electro Swing Soirée for Animal friends by hosting Fashion shows in Pittsburgh, Pa. 2019 is a year. Eva will be focused working more with models by streamlining classes to help with Empowering Models Group and Angel Eva’s Models Management. Her passion is teaching up and coming designers how to drive their brand. Working towards a goal and desire is make Pittsburgh known as a city of Fashion and Design that can compete with New York. She believes there is a lot of talent in this city and wants to help it grow. “ I believe it’s important to pass on my knowledge hoping to inspire more people in the industry on fashion” Eva .
