Pittsburgh Business Show Receives Leadership Circle Award from Junior Achievement of Western PA

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Business Show was awarded the bronze Junior Achievement Leadership Circle Award during the organization’s 78^th Annual Meeting, recently held at the Westin Hotel and Convention Center.

The Leadership Circle Award is presented to a corporation, organization, or individual based on their combined contributions of financial support and in-kind contributions. These contributions are then used to fulfill Junior Achievement’s mission of empowering young people.

The Pittsburgh Business Show, the largest business-to-business expo in the region, welcomed Junior Achievement of Western PA as the charity partner for the 2017 Show, held in April at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The Show promoted and supported several Junior Achievement campaigns and held a casino night fundraiser during the Show to generate funds. At the close of the Show, President Linda Jo Thornberg presented a check to Dennis Gilfoyle, the President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Western PA, with collected contributions totaling $2,500.
