The Pittsburgh Business Show is excited to announce the 2019 Pittsburgh Business Pitch! This second annual program at the largest business-for-business trade show in the region will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to business owners throughout the Pittsburgh region.

This event will take place over two days at the Show May 14-15 and will provide local start-ups the opportunity to exhibit their business concept for both days of the Show. Participants will also be given a chance to win sponsored services and support for their business to help them launch their brand.

Present Your Innovative Business Concept to Thousands of Attendees

At the Show, participants in the Pittsburgh Business Pitch will have the chance to tell their story and explain their unique business concept to attendees during the event. The winner of the Business Pitch will be determined through voting using a text to vote system, sponsored by Fyre, INC.  where participants can share their ideas to gain votes from attendees, exhibitors, the community.

Pitch participants will have the opportunity to share their innovative business ideas on social media to gain more votes. The business concept with the most votes will be presented with Pittsburgh Business Pitch Award on the main stage at the Show. The winner will also receive a suite of sponsored services to help them get their business off the ground and growing.

The winner will have the opportunity to create connections and partnerships with some of the best and brightest businesses in Pittsburgh while being mentored by some of the most successful professionals and business owners in the area to help take their business to the next level.

People who have a unique, cutting edge business idea and live within the 10-county western Pennsylvania region can nominate their idea for the Pittsburgh Business Pitch by filling out this form. Whether you are nominating yourself or someone else, you can pitch your concept by providing a business name, business concept, and description, your vision, and your contact information.

Once nominations are received, 12 finalists will be chosen to compete. Finalists will be provided with a booth on the main floor of the Show. Participants will have the opportunity to present their business idea to the attendees, exhibitors, and Pitch sponsors at the Pittsburgh Business Show on May 14 and 15 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Nominations are currently being accepted through March 1^st, 2019. Finalists will be contacted on March 31th, 2019.
