Susan Miller of the Women’s Small Business Association to Present at the Pittsburgh Business Show

Networking Events Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh – Susan Miller, the founder of the Women’s Small Business Association (WSBA), will present a workshop about successful entrepreneurship at the Pittsburgh Business Show on April 19, 2017. The Show, being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on April 19–20, 2017, is a business-to-business expo that will help to connect people, businesses, and resources for those whose are interested in achieving business success.

Ms. Miller is a “serial entrepreneur” who founded the WSBA to encourage women to start their own business to provide economic independence. She also strives to help women develop skills needed for entrepreneurial success. She has been named an award winner for NAWBO’s Make the Connection, Women’s Business Network’s Wondrous Woman, and Best 50 Women in Business.

On Wednesday, April 19, at 11 a.m., Miller will lead a workshop at the Show entitled, “How to Become a Successful Entrepreneur” that will discuss the plan of action that successful entrepreneurs and business people should follow to reach their goals. Tickets for this presentation are available here, and Miller’s promotional video is available here.

“When you’re starting out as an entrepreneur, you should know what makes successful entrepreneurs. As an entrepreneurial expert, I’m never satisfied with reaching goals. Instead, I’m always looking to do more. I’m driven to start businesses, and then I work on them until they are profitable and sellable. With this experience, my lecture will provide tips and methods used by successful entrepreneurs and will help business owners establish themselves,” said Miller.

“Susan started the WSBA to connect women locally and nationally in business, and her entrepreneurial drive is what the Pittsburgh Business Show is all about. As a start-up business coach and small business advocate, she knows the tools and resources that entrepreneurs need to establish and grow their companies,” said Linda Jo Thornberg, President of the Pittsburgh Business Show.

The Pittsburgh Business Show invites start-up businesses, established organizations, and Fortune 500 companies to connect with others to learn how to achieve their goals, increase their revenue, and connect with people and resources that will jump-start their businesses. The two-day event is free to the public.
