Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania Named Charitable Partner of the Pittsburgh Business Show

Pittsburgh, PA – Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania, an organization that prepares young people for economic success and supports free enterprise, will serve as the charitable partner of the Pittsburgh Business Show, an upcoming business-to-business expo being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20, 2017.

As the official charitable organization of the Pittsburgh Business Show, Junior Achievement will receive both name and logo recognition on the Show website and program and will receive booth space and main stage recognition. Additionally, a JA representative will serve as a speaker during the Show.
The Pittsburgh Business Show will be supporting the organization with generated revenue to JA at an awards ceremony on the closing day of the show to help grow the next generation of entrepreneurs in our region.

The goal of the Pittsburgh Business Show is to help build partnerships, bring businesses together for networking, and create new business opportunities for companies. This annual expo will showcase technology and marketing while creating a sense of community among businesses in western Pennsylvania and the tri-state area.

“Junior Achievement believes in the power of partnership and collaboration. As we develop future business leaders, we rely on building strong relationships with organizations like the Pittsburgh Business Show. Attending the Show also provides our students with hands-on experience with the business community in our region. They will have the opportunity to talk to hundreds of businesses during the show and share their perspectives about what makes the Pittsburgh area a driving economic force,” said Bill Lucas, Junior Achievement’s Vice President of Development.

“The Pittsburgh Business Show will be the largest business-to-business show held in Pittsburgh, while Junior Achievement provides the tools to young people who want to develop financial savvy and learn how to start and run their own businesses. It’s a perfect partnership. These students have a tremendous amount of talent and drive, and we look forward to creating an impact with JA as the Pittsburgh Business Show makes its debut,” said Linda Jo Thornberg, VP of Sales & Corporate Sponsorship for the Pittsburgh Business Show.
Any individual or company who would like to participate as a sponsor should contact Linda Jo Thornberg at 800-549-4048 or at LindaJo@PittsburghBusinessShow.com for further information.
