Dollar Bank, Pittsburgh’s hometown bank, will serve as a presenter and a sponsor of the Celebrate Pittsburgh Networking Event at the upcoming Pittsburgh Business Show, the area’s largest business-for-business trade show and networking event, being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on April 25 and 26, 2018.
For more than 160 years, Dollar Bank has grown to become a large, full-service, regional bank that provides banking services to individuals and businesses. Since 1994, they have been recognized as a leader in community reinvestment and economic development. Federal government regulators have consistently ranked Dollar Bank “Best in Class” in the area of community reinvestment. Whether their staff works with individuals, small businesses, corporations or non-profit groups, every relationship is approached as neighbor to neighbor.
Dollar Bank’s presenter for the Pittsburgh Business Show is Dave Weber, Vice President of Business Banking. His workshop is entitled, “The Bankability Factor” and will give insight into what banks examine when they make lending decisions regarding small business loans. He will take a closer look at how business cash flow is calculated, appropriate types of collateral, and how a personal credit report plays a role in decision making.
Dollar Bank is also the sponsor of the Celebrate Pittsburgh Business Networking Event, being held on Wednesday, April 25, from 7:30 – 9 p.m. The event includes a cash bar and light appetizers, and attendees are invited to meet Show exhibitors, business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives. Tickets for this large-scale networking event are now available.
“I’m thrilled that Dollar Bank is again joining the Pittsburgh Business Show as the sponsor of the Celebrate Pittsburgh Business Networking Event and will be presenting a workshop for businesses. Dollar Bank has supported individuals, families, small businesses, non-profits, and corporate entities in and around the Pittsburgh area since 1855, and they are dedicated to communities and neighborhoods where Pittsburghers live and work. It’s one of the many reasons why they are the region’s preferred bank,” said Linda Jo Thornberg, President the Pittsburgh Business Show.
The Pittsburgh Business Show is the area’s largest business-for-business trade show and networking event, welcoming thousands of attendees, hundreds of exhibitors, and 30-plus speakers that will help western Pennsylvania businesses grow and flourish. Those interested in attending the Show and participating in the networking events and presentations can receive two-day discounted tickets.
