Flexable to Provide Complimentary Childcare for Attendees at the 2018 Pittsburgh Business Show

Flexable, a Pittsburgh-based company that provides quality pop-up childcare for area employers, events and organizations, has partnered with the Pittsburgh Business Show to provide complimentary child care during two events at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Flexable will provide their services on Wednesday, April 25 from 5:30 – 10 p.m. during the Business Choice Awards and Celebrate Pittsburgh Business Networking event and on Thursday, April 26 from 11:30- a.m. – 2 p.m. during the Business for Business Speed Networking event.

Flexable was created by Priya Amin and Jessica Strong, two professional moms in Pittsburgh who know that trustworthy, last-minute childcare is a barrier that parents can’t always overcome. The company offers location-based, pop-up childcare at offices, networking events, conferences, trainings, and special events like weddings. The company can also provide care for scheduled “secondary” holidays and school in-service days, etc.

“The Show’s mission is to support the community, so we are excited to have Flexable at the Pittsburgh Business Show as a great resource for the professional parents and business owners in our area. Being a working parent is hard enough, and our goal to help connect business, people and resources will be better supported because of this child-care concept,” said Linda Jo Thornberg, President of the Pittsburgh Business Show. “Parents will be able to attend several of our large-scale events without worry and are welcome to use Flexable’s complimentary childcare during the Show,” she said.

Flexable will provide free childcare at two separate times at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Registration must be completed beforehand. Childcare is available for children 6 weeks old to 12 years old; no food will be provided to the children.
