Robert Floreak, President of Acuity Human Resources, will lead two human resources seminars at this year’s Pittsburgh Business Show on April 25 and 26, 2018, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Human Resources practitioners, including employee, development, training, and compensation managers, can earn free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for both Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
Robert has led the Human Resources and Strategic Business efforts for small regional companies and large national corporations for over 25 years. He started his Human Resources career as part of the Westinghouse Electric Human Resources Executive Development Program and was promoted into positions of increasing authority until being named the Vice President of Human Resources at Westinghouse Communications.
Today, as President of Acuity HR, Robert and his team focus on the mission that every company, regardless of size, should be able to utilize world-class HR programs for growth. His ability to combine business understanding, sophisticated HR, and people skills have integrated Bob and his team into the companies they service.
“As an experienced HR consultant, I know how important it is for companies to effectively train their employees in proper human resources practices that benefit both employee and company goals. My sessions will discuss how to link business goals to people strategies using HR business partners, and how to maximize individual and departmental performance by linking compensation to performance metrics and business outcomes,” said Robert.
Each session will allow HR professionals to earn one CEU credit. Discounted two-day tickets to the Pittsburgh Business Show are available and allow entry to the full agenda for April 25 and 26, including both HR seminars.
The Pittsburgh Business Show is the area’s largest business-for-business trade show and networking event, welcoming thousands of attendees, hundreds of exhibitors, and 30-plus speakers that will help western Pennsylvania businesses grow and flourish.
