Washington County Chamber of Commerce Partners with the 2018 Pittsburgh Business Show to Promote Region’s Business Community

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce (WCCC), the largest business association in Washington County and the second largest Chamber of Commerce in Southwestern Pennsylvania, has partnered with the Pittsburgh Business Show, the area’s largest trade show and networking event, being held on April 25 and 26, 2018, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

As part of the partnership agreement, the WCCC has received name and logo recognition on the Show program, website, and social media channels, is serving as an exhibitor, and will also be recognized during the event as a partner. The WCCC is offering an exclusive discount for their members to attend the Pittsburgh Business Show, with monies collected then donated back to the Chamber.

The WCCC, with more than 1,100 members, has been serving the business community since 1911 to encourage the growth of existing businesses and industries, provide assistance to new firms or individuals and to advocate legislative and political actions beneficial to the business or general community.

“The Pittsburgh Business Show’s mission is to bring together resources, industry, and people from the region and connect them with other businesses that will increase the economy, support the local region, and create long lasting relationships. Our partnership with the WCCC will not only showcase this integral part of the Pittsburgh business region, it will also give WCCC members the chance to meet with other businesses in the area to discuss growth and future opportunities,” said Linda Jo Thornberg, President of the Pittsburgh Business Show.

This year’s Show includes exhibitors, 30+ speakers and workshops, and several large-scale networking events for business owners, executives, and employees. The agenda also features new events including the inaugural Business Choice Awards, speed networking opportunities, and the Pittsburgh Business Pitch. Those interested in attending the Show can receive two-day discounted tickets.
