Jennifer works for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, overseeing the overall fundraising, program management, volunteer development, and chapter operations for 20 counties in the Western PA region. She began volunteering with AFSP in 2010, then became the AFSP Western PA board chair in 2014 before being hired as staff in 2016. She has also been trained in SafeTALK for suicide intervention. Under her leadership, the chapter has been named a “Pacesetter” chapter in 2017 for consistent high performance, “Mid-Market Chapter of the Year” in 2016, and “Most Improved Chapter” in 2015. Prior to AFSP, she spent 18 years as a technology industry marketing executive. She holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh with dual focuses in journalism and public relations, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
